Igor Stravinsky

Stravinsky (1882-1971) was a revolutionary Russian Neoclassical composer. The stylistic delivery of his works caused much controversy in their time and change how traditional composers saw rhythmic structure. His compositions were dissonant yet lively, hiding emotion behind a veil of detachment. His greatest works include: the Firebird, Rite of Spring, and Symphony in Three Movements.
